Why do eclipses create portals?
We can only have an eclipse when the sun and moon are near the north or south node of the moon, either together, as in a New Moon, which creates a Solar Eclipse, or opposite each other, as in a Full Moon, which creates a Lunar eclipse.
Solar eclipses create a lot of new energy around how identity blends with purpose, new self image, reset that begins in the subconscious, and grows as a seed planted. The more receptive and open we can be around solar eclipses will allow us to receive the download and flow with the shifting tides accordingly.
Lunar eclipses bring up a lot around integration of opposite parts of ourselves, opposite strategies really talking to each other loudly, and creating a dynamic tension that supports creativity and expression. Often there is a strong relational dynamic that shows up externally to show us what we’re really working through internally.
We get to explore the inner depths of our minds with the Mercury retrograde happening in the middle of this portal, May 10th, the same day that Jupiter also enters Aries for the next 6 months.
There is an acceleration of movement, an energy spiral that is rapidly releasing what doesn’t serve us, and rapidly inviting in what our new energetic focus will be for the coming months for some, and years for others!
You will be a new version of you on the other side of this eclipse portal.
